is located 11 kilometers ( 6 .8 mi ) west of Hyderabad. It is also a tehsil of
Hyderabad district, India. The place is known for the mines that have
produced some of the world's most popular diamonds, including the Koh-i-Noor,
the Hope Diamond and the Nassak Diamond. Golconda
Fort is one of the best places to visit in Hyderabad till date and

Buddha Statue
The Statue of the Buddha, with a height of 17.5 m, is one of the world’s largest monoliths. It weighs around 350 tonnes and was graven out of white granite rock. Close to 200 statue makers were involved for 2 years in the creation of this statue. The statue was designed as a part of the Buddha Purnima project in 1985 but a few years later, it met with misfortune while being carried to the lake. The statue laid on the bed of the lake till the time it was finally brought out and erected on the pedestal on 12th April 1992

The construction of Mecca Masjid was first started by Sultan Mohammed Qutub Shah but was completed after 77 years by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1694. A named

Surendrapuri
Surendrapuri is a place where one can visit and feel the experience of visiting 100's of temples all over India located about 60km from Hyderabad, India. The museum is often known as Mythological Awareness Centre. As the name indicates, it had been established to create an awareness of Indian mythology or even more especially Hindu mythology. It was built by Kunda Satyanarayana in memory of his son Surendra. It is usually identified locally as Kunda Satyanarayana Kala Dhamma, in his honor. Which means that Kunda Satyanarayana has used artistry thoroughly to illustrate mythology.
The Tank Bund, the barrier to the Hussain

Qutab Shahi Tombs
The tombs of the seven Qutub Shahi rulers in
the Ibrahim Bagh are situated about a kilometer north from Golconda Fort in
Hyderabad, India. A combination of Indian and Persian style of architecture,
these tombs are considered to be the oldest historical monuments in Hyderabad.
These tombs are constructed by grey granite, on a very high square platform.
These tombs are dome-structured that have a quadrangular shape. Each one of
these tombs is at a height of about 9 – 15 meters from the platform and is enclosed
by specific arches. The design of the tombs is mixed, displaying Hindu,
Persian, and Pathan forms–Indo-Persian architectures which are influenced by
Deccani structural ideas. As a result, a special Qutub Shari school of
architecture marked by liberal use of minarets, arches, domes, and columns was
created.
The Lumbini park is a major attraction on the Tank Bund Road in Hyderabad, which is situated in the center of the city next to the Hussain Sagar Lake of 7 .5 acres. Lumbini Park has become the best place of relaxation and a place of amusement.
