Birla Mandir

The Salar Jung Museum of Hyderabad is a monument of the artistic achievements of various European, Asian and Far Eastern countries of the world.

The current museum building was constructed on the southern bank of River Musi, which is nearby the very important monuments of the old city of Hyderabad such as the historic Charminar, Mecca Masjid etc., The collections of the Museum and the library were shifted from Dewan Deodi to the new building in the year 1968, and two more buildings were added in the year 2000.

Chowmahalla Palace

The Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad near Charminar was once the seat of the Asaf Jahi Empire and was constructed with a purpose to deal with royal guests and visitors. The building design of the palace has been influenced by various styles of architecture and contains a southern courtyard and northern courtyard, complete with lawns and fountains. Nehru zoological park  

            

Also called Hyderabad Zoo, Nehru Zoological Park was founded in the year 1959 however it was only in 1963 when it got opened for public . Named after the first Indian Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the zoo park has been effectively maintained and run by the Hyderabad forest department for more than 4 decades. During N. T. Rama Rao served as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, between 1983 and 1989 he invested large sums of money to standing many statues of people from the region's political and religious history. During his visit to New York, he observed the Statue of Liberty and was motivated by the efforts to regain it. He said "I wanted something similar to that . . . That would have been my contribution to society.

The Statue of the Buddha, with a height of 17.5 m, is one of the world’s largest monoliths. It weighs around 350 tonnes and was graven out of white granite rock. Close to 200 statue makers were involved for 2 years in the creation of this statue. The statue was designed as a part of the Buddha Purnima project in 1985 but a few years later, it met with misfortune while being carried to the lake. The statue laid on the bed of the lake till the time it was finally brought out and erected on the pedestal on 12th April 1992

Charminar

The construction of Mecca Masjid was first started by Sultan Mohammed Qutub Shah but was completed after 77 years by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1694. A named heritage building in the city of Hyderabad, Mecca Masjid is an amazing building integrated granite with beautiful interiors.

Surendrapuri                     

Surendrapuri is a place where one can visit and feel the experience of visiting 100's of temples all over India located about 60km from Hyderabad, India. The museum is often known as Mythological Awareness Centre. As the name indicates, it had been established to create an awareness of Indian mythology or even more especially Hindu mythology. It was built by Kunda Satyanarayana in memory of his son Surendra. It is usually identified locally as Kunda Satyanarayana Kala Dhamma, in his honor. Which means that Kunda Satyanarayana has used artistry thoroughly to illustrate mythology.

Hussain Sagar Lake                

The Tank Bund, the barrier to the Hussain Sagar, as well as the link between the twin cities, was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah, and is and has always been a major place to visit. Qutab Shahi Tombs                

The tombs of the seven Qutub Shahi rulers in the Ibrahim Bagh are situated about a kilometer north from Golconda Fort in Hyderabad, India. A combination of Indian and Persian style of architecture, these tombs are considered to be the oldest historical monuments in Hyderabad. These tombs are constructed by grey granite, on a very high square platform. These tombs are dome-structured that have a quadrangular shape. Each one of these tombs is at a height of about 9 – 15 meters from the platform and is enclosed by specific arches. The design of the tombs is mixed, displaying Hindu, Persian, and Pathan forms–Indo-Persian architectures which are influenced by Deccani structural ideas. As a result, a special Qutub Shari school of architecture marked by liberal use of minarets, arches, domes, and columns was created.
